The procedure begins with a detailed clinical examination and analysis of X-rays. Depending on the patient’s specific needs, excess gum tissue may need to be removed, and sometimes part of the bone around the tooth. Laser technology allows for very precise and selective tissue removal. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and lasts only a few minutes, with postoperative pain significantly less than traditional methods.
